The RS takes inspiration for design and performance directly from the racetrack. Sporty Alcantara/leather seats with lateral support and an RS emblem set the tone for the interior, while ensuring you’re comfortable on even the longest drive. A three-spoke multi-function leather steering wheel with a six-speed manual transmission, or six-speed DSG with steering wheel mounted paddleshifts, continues to meld high-performance with style and safety.
The Octavia RS sports an attractive exterior that reveals its high-performance heritage. Its character is perfectly captured by the 18” Neptune light alloy wheels, aerodynamic spoiler on the boot and the aggressive chrome double exhaust. The understated style of the RS is further reflected in the tinted windows, optional xenon headlights with dynamic angle control, foglights and the LED lights of the daytime running lights.
Daytime running lights
The independent LEDs for the daytime running lights are located above the foglights in the RS. In keeping with the RS design philosophy they enhance both performance and appearance.

Engines
A 2.0 TSI petrol engine with a power output of 147kW and a diesel common-rail 2.0 TDI with 125kW are some of the very best powerplants in their categories. Both engines guarantee an exceptional performance at the same time as providing efficient fuel consumption.
