The Roomster’s innovative design means that the space inside isn’t just clever and unique; it’s incredibly safe too. With six airbags as standard, including driver and front passenger, front side and curtain airbags, the Roomster puts safety first. So, no matter what your cargo, or where they’re sitting, you can enjoy the peace of mind of five-star safety.
Modern electronic systems also contribute to driver and passenger safety. Depending on the version you choose, the Roomster is equipped with a standard ESP stabilisation program which includes ABS, ASR and EBD to help give you certainty when cornering in all circumstances.
Parking sensors
Save yourself from the nerve-wracking moment of parking in streets filled to bursting with the aid of four optional ultrasound sensors in the rear bumper. The sensors continually monitor the distance between the car and the nearest obstacle, and an acoustic signal will draw your attention to the risk of a collision.
Measuring tyre pressure
The Roomster is available with TPM to enhance safety and performance. TPM monitors the tyre pressure and assesses the ratio of revolutions by each wheel in relation to the other tyres using data from the ABS sensors. If revolutions by one wheel change due to a fall in the tyre pressure, a light will illuminate on the dashboard and warn you in time.
Rear lights
The vertical arrangement of the rear tail lights help make the car more visible, making both driver and passengers safer. The rear lights are also a significant unifying design element for the Škoda brand. When driving at night a characteristic ‘C’ can be seen shining brightly in the middle of them.
