The headlights use LEDs for all of their functions. LED technologies’ many upsides include their longer life and the fact that they are less of a drain on power. Their hexagonal modules are complemented by Crystallinium^TM – this brand-new special feature evoking coloured crystalline glass brings a new flair of colour to the headlight. On top of that, they feature a side light and the cutting-edge Matrix function which standard in the all-new Kodiaq Sportline.

Using a multifunction camera that detects light sources from oncoming vehicles, the Matrix function of the LED headlights masks out the light distribution around other vehicles or traffic signs in real time with individually switchable LED chips in each headlight. This results in a perfectly illuminated road ahead and greater safety.

The LED Matrix headlights are complemented by the very best LED tail lights. They dynamic direction indicators and welcome effect are standard on the Sportline. The LED tail lights are interconnected by a red strip that has a 3D crystalline structure.
